Impress introduces Recycled Ink

Chatsworth, CA – Impress Communications (“Impress”), an award-winning commercial printer and visual communications company, continues to innovate with environmentally conscious solutions by introducing Recycled Ink.

Earlier this year, Impress introduced its Ink Lab, a fully self-contained, in-house ink and coating development operation capable of producing customized colors and exacting quantities. The operation was developed to improve efficiencies and reduce waste, while opening the door for advancements in ink solutions. Through further investments in research and development, Impress has designed a proprietary system and process for repurposing and reusing PMS colors within its Ink Lab operation, resulting in recycled ink. By developing, producing and implementing an ink recycling system, Impress is not only pushing forward-thinking in the print industry but continuing its environmentally conscious initiatives to minimize waste, reduce carbon footprint, and move towards sustainable solutions.

Recycled Ink is currently available and actively being utilized at Impress on all of the PMS color projects through the Impress Ink Lab – proudly Printed with Recycled Ink.
