When Impress Communications teamed with Komori, a leading global manufacturer of printing presses, two "first of their kind" installations were born. This article profiles how a unique eight-color press and a six-color press with UV capabilities gives Impress clients even more freedom to expand their creative visions.
Our client, GMS Industries, a maker of point-of-purchase (P-O-P) displays, needed an easily maintained logo header to top off cardboard product displays. Their customer, Tina's Quality Baked Goods, wanted to build & promote brand awareness.
The answer: a half-circle, die-cut sign made of 30 ml thick matte vinyl was imprinted with UV ink in Tina's trademark colors with a gloss aqueous coating applied to the impression. These signs are easily wiped down with a damp cloth; the rigid header stays attractive without fear of signage tearing or fading.
